Title: A Time to Kill
Author: John Grisham
Reviewer: Marlene P., age 17
Type of book: mystery

This is a wonderful book that I very much enjoyed reading. At times it became difficult to put down because I had become fascinated with all of the courtroom drama. It is a book that I believe many people will enjoy reading, especially if they want to become members of our legal system in the future. At times this book can be very difficult, due to the sensitivity of the topic being discussed, but it is well worth the time spent to read it. I recommend this book along with every other novel John Grisham writes. He is a brilliant author with many talents. He knows how to bring the courtroom right into our homes. It is a book that I believe all will enjoy.

Title:  Runaway
Author:  Cheryl Zach
Reviewer:  Ethan C., age 15
Type of Book:  Adventure, Romance

If you like suspense and think books are boring and are a waste of time, then I suggest that you try reading a suspense-packed book, entitled Runaway.  This book is about a boy named Seth, who only has a mother, and a girl named Cassie, who has intensely strict parents.  I am not one for reading books, however this book was very interesting.  Well, anyways, Cassie and Seth fall in love and one day decided to have sex.  Cassie ended up becoming pregnant and when her father found out, he sent her off to some school for pregnant girls.   Seth sets off after her by hitch-hiking.  Well, if you want to know the rest, then you'll have to read the book.  Take my word for it, it is a very exciting and intense book.

Reviewer: Dana L., age 14
Type of book:-Humor--True Story-

This book creats a world in which adults are nearly nonexistent and children struggle to establish a life for themselfs. Seventeen-year-old Greg "Slam" Harris can do it all on the court. But off its a different story. He grades are not so hot. And he knows it. When his grades might keep him off the court Slam decieds its time to get busy. Over his jurney to save his grades, Slam finds out a horrible secret about his best friend Ice, he decieds to try and save him. This book is funny, heart-breaking, and true. I would give this book to anyone who likes, or doesn't like, basketball. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.
